12 Must-Have Twitter Tools For Your MLM Business

If you don’t already know what twitter is then…you really need to get out from the well you’ve been living in. Twitter is a micro-blogging platform that allows people to chat, interact and socialize with each other through instant  messages called tweets.

It’s been wildly used by many marketers to build relationship with theirs customers and prospects. So if you want to get on the social media craze…get on twitter or facebook now! But be aware, don’t use it as a spam tool, or a means to drive traffic to your sites. It’s really not a traffic generating tool if you ask me, unless you have massive followers that will click on whatever you tweet.

If you do have an account already and want to learn how to tweet efficiently…

Here’s a list of twitter tools that I’ve used and recommend:

1) Tweet Deck:

It’s a must-have if you really want to integrate twitter into building your relationship with your prospects. There are simply too many tweets you will receive every minute, so this tool comes in to play to mange your tweets for you. It’s fast, efficient, and a time saver.  Also saves you a lot of headache looking at all the tweets. You can use it to group up your twitter friends and filter out unwanted messages. If you have a Facebook account, you can update your status with this tool as well.

2)Twirl:

Similar to Tweet Deck, it’s also an external twitter browser. However, it’s not as powerful and useful as tweet deck for me. It’s a little slower, and you can’t assign your tweeps to differect groups. Well, a simpler tweet deck is what I called.

3) Twellow:

After you get your twitter account, I recommend you to submit your profile to Twellow to get more followers in your niche. It’s a twitter directory that categorizes twitter users based on interests and professions. If you want to find targeted people to follow, this is the best place to go.

4)Twitter Karma:

You got karma?? You can check who’s not following you back or who you’re not following back on this website. Since twitter only allows you to add certain number of twitter friends based on your followers. You can use this tool to “purge” your non-followers, and follow more friends to grow your followers. It’s very useful for twitter beginners.

5) Tweet Later:

This tool is very useful for many reasons. You can schedule your tweets to publish in the future. You can auto-follow whoever follows you, so you build more twitter karma . You can auto-send message to people who follow you. You can auto-unfollow people who they unfollow you. It also has a paid service with more powerful tools. Check it out!

6)Future Tweet:

If you want to use twee later to schedule recurring tweets, you have to pay for the upgraded service. But it’s free with future tweet.

7) Twitter Tool For Wordpress:

If you have a wordpress blog, you can use this easy-to-install, user-friendly plugin to notify your followers you publish a new blog post. It will drive more traffic to your blog if you do have something really good on your blog.

Tweetmeme:

This plugin allows your readers to re-tweet your post on twitter, it also creates a link back from tweetmeme website. This works similar to digg. You can use this tool to drive traffic to your blog through the power of word of mouth. You can track who re-tweeted your blog post and tweet this generous person a  thank you note.

9)  Twitter Search:

Twitter’s official seach engine. Want to know who are talking about you or your MLM company? Search it. Use this tool to find targeted prospects and connect with them. It can also be a customer service tool when you answer people’s question about your products or services.

10) Twitter Fox:

This is a firefox plugin that lets you see your friends’ tweets without going to twitter.com. It’s very easy to use. But I still recommend using tweet deck, since it’s way more useful.

11) Twitpic:

Do you have any pictures you want to share with your tweeps? You can upload your pictures from your cell phone to twitpic and shout out to your friends on twitter.

12) Twitter Getter:

Now this is many people’s secret weapon to grow  followers virally. This tool will help you use other people’s effort to easily and quickly grow more followers. More follower=more traffic. —–>.Join me here.<——-

I think there are thousands of twitter tools out there. Believe me they are everywhere, but you really need to know how to effectively use them so you don’t waste your precious time on learning the new big thing and forget your major goal of using twitter.
