MLM Training – MLM Secrets From an Online “Guru”
Here are some secrets that one MLM money-maker wants to pass along to others…
The leaders in your upline won’t ever tell you the truth about how they got where they are. They may inspire you to work, encourage you, and help you, but they won’t teach you exactly what they did to get where they are. Why?
Because they may have come into their current company with a downline already established from another company. This happens more often than people will admit. Think about it – if you’re not doing that well in an MLM company, but your ever-helpful sponsor or upline lets you know of a new and “better” opportunity, wouldn’t you be tempted to go with him? That’s what some “gurus” do – they take their downline with them when they move to another company.
But your sponsor may never tell you how they grew into any business, because YOU are part of that plan. Or they may charge you for more information. Why would an upline do that? Don’t they make enough money off you and your downline already?
Many techniques that you are taught do work, but they may work better for your upline than they do for you. You are taught these methods because they sound easy, and they work very well for the company and your “guru”.
Sometimes that “guru” simply doesn’t want to prospect anymore, so he gets a “big dog” to do three-way calls and keep his downline motivated and working for him.
The reason that your upline “guru” wants you to involve your family and friends is likely because he knows you’ll be like the 90% that start in MLM business only to drop out 6 months later.
Don’t grab your gun to hunt down your “guru” – remember, they are also just doing what they were taught to do. They’re not likely that much higher than you are, and they may not have the full story behind the current “business opportunity”. They’re only trying to do the best they can, to make more money. Isn’t that what you are trying to do, too?
So what do you need to do? Find someone who will tell you the truth, and help you to become a master in the art of marketing. You can approach “guru” status instead of forever being a “worker bee”.
Sooooo… learn about the services, products and opportunities your new company provides. In this way, you can explain how it works, how it can help people, and even learn to explain the MLM compensation plans.
Any business plan depends on new clients and customers. Regardless of what MLM business you land in, if you can create a steady flow of prospects, you can be the guru instead of the gopher.
