SEO made EZ for your Affiliate Website

If you have an affiliate website, then you know how important it is to DRIVE traffic there. One very effective way to do this is through SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. This is, in a nutshell, using keywords that are highly ranked at Google, etc, to attract traffic to your site. You can’t get people clicking on your sponsors’ ads if you can’t get them to your site.

As you’re beginning, you will notice that some specific keywords or phrases get more hits than more obscure wordings. Take advantage of this, and fill your articles with keywords that rank highly, so that more people will come to YOUR site. SEO is not altogether easy, but it’s not rocket science. Here are some tips:

To have a successful affiliate website, you MUST use all the weapons at your disposal, and one of them is SEO. This means including word or phrase on your site that people typically type into search engines, so that YOUR site will appear prominently in the results. The better you place your keywords on your site, in articles, etc, the more hits you will likely get from search engines.

If you’re not sure what keywords are working the best, you can generate a keyword, and this can be accomplished in a number of different ways. You can sign up for a web-based free analytic program that collects stats and tells you what keywords will bring the most traffic. After you find out which keywords will bring the most traffic, you can saturate future articles, etc. on your site with the keywords that work the best. You can even take those suggested keywords and run them through a program that will take the high ranking keywords and generate phrases USING them that will bring more traffic your way.

You can also research keywords, by typing in a few keywords and checking the sites that are listed after a search. You can click over to those sites and look for words THEY have commonly repeated, and use those on your site.

Keyword planning is important, and you most likely will NOT have a successful site without it. The foundation of SEO is optimization of keywords. This is an integral step in the health of your website.
