Tips from the Top – Network Marketing to Win

It’s a jungle out there in network marketing! But it doesn’t have to feel like jungle warfare to get ahead. If you learn how to network properly, and are well-organized, it can be profitable for you. Here are some tips to get you started in network marketing:

Network marketing isn’t just selling goods and services. It also entails selling yourself. You need to convince people that it’s in their best interest to join you. Then you can work with them to help them develop a trusting relationship with you.

Is it hard to develop these relationships? Not really. Even if you’ve never worked sales before, if you are confident and competent, you can work on relationships with relative ease. First and foremost, be yourself. You want people to work with you on your project, so sell them on you, as well as your service or product. Let them know how you got started, what worked and didn’t work for you, and how you got where you are today. If you’re new to the project, tell your downline about your sponsor, and urge them to come and join you.

A good way to earn trust is to give your potential distributors something for nothing. You could offer a free e-book or report that goes into detail about the program you are representing, or something that explains the ins and outs of network marketing as a whole. As long as someone opts in to your mailing list or site, give this e-book to them. Then, be sure you follow up. Give them more information, and be there if they have questions. Help them to feel that they are getting something out of the relationship, even if they haven’t yet signed up in your program.

Be sure your prospects know that you will be there to help them once they join. They won’t have to do it alone. And let them know why you want them to be successful – because that will make you successful. They need to know that you have something to gain by helping them, just as they will have something to gain by joining. In the beginning, there will always be doubts. But you can relieve them.

Forget about the numbers, and think about the people you will be working with. If you build a trusting relationship with them, they will pass the same helpful attitude to their downline, and that’s how your business will grow. It’s all about people.
