Top Tips for Using RSS for Your MLM Business
- 0 Comments
RSS is “Really Simple Syndication”. This method allows you to deliver your content directly to everyone who is interested in it, so they don’t have to take the time surfing to find your information.
RSS is essential in syndicating your content, and it can help you send summaries and headlines to those who subscribe to your blog. You can use RSS to increase the traffic to your MLM blog.
RSS is very effective in allowing you to advertise new content on websites other than your own, without the issues of mass emails.
Not sure how RSS codes work? Don’t sweat it! You can create a feed without doing any of the coding yourself, by utilizing software apps that are really easy to use. They can all be formatted from your XML content. There is some useful RSS feed plugin information at FeedForAll, Feedblitz or Feedburner.
In order to maximize your RSS feeds, try these helpful tips:
Set up an RSS feed for your own site. If you have a blog that was created with Wordpress or Blogger, they will provide you with an RSS feed that can be placed on your site. Grab one of the orange logo buttons and put it on your site. Next, you will need to link it to your personal RSS Feed URL, which is your atom.xml link if you use Blogger for your blog. You can get other buttons for feeds at the sites FeedForAll, Feedblitz or Feedburner.
Place some additional RSS Feeds on your site. In this way, you can place headlines at your Feed site and use a headline animator to display the RSS Feed’s headlines with links. Additionally, you can put other content from a different feed on your site, which will allow you to automatically update feed and news content on your blog.
Place MSN Search results on your blog, using MSN’s beta program for RSS usage in their search program. In this way, you can have RSS search results placed directly in your blog. This will add fresh content to your site. Fresh content will draw more hits to your site, and increase the traffic to your MLM blog.
This is relatively easy to do. You just need to add “&format=rss” to the end of your URL, in the search engine query at MSN.
You can also put Yahoo results into your blog, and place tags in your posts and on your blog. Tags are basically keywords for blogs, and they can help increase traffic to your MLM blog.
